# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They're small enough to pop in your mouth but fudgy enough to feel genuinely indulgent.
  • You can frost and decorate them while watching fireworks on your porch, no fancy piping skills required.
  • They disappear faster than you'd think, which always feels like a personal victory.
02 -
  • Don't overbake these little guys, because they're small enough that the difference between perfectly fudgy and dry is literally 2 minutes.
  • Your frosting needs to be at exactly the right temperature and consistency, or it'll either tear into the brownie or slide right off.
03 -
  • Measure cocoa powder and flour by weight whenever possible, because scooping from the bag compacts them and makes your brownies dense.
  • If your cream cheese isn't soft, leave it on the counter for 20 minutes instead of trying to rush it, because cold cream cheese will always curdle your frosting.
